Finalmente si comincia col gigante gassoso! Siamo ancora lontani dall’opposizione, ma chi ben comincia… La mattina 04 giugno il seeing è stato sufficiente per tentare alcune riprese di Giove che alla fine hanno dato un risultato altrettanto accettabile (se consideriamo che al momento delle riprese il pianeta si trovava a 28° sopra l’orizzonte). Diciamo che questa volta non ho buttato tutte le riprese come nei giorni precedenti. É stata la prima vera luce della asi224, una camera a colori ZWO dedicata alle riprese planetarie alla quale ho abbinato un correttore di dispersione atmosferica sempre delle ZWO. Devo un po’affinare la tecnica, ma sono soddisfatto del lavoro del ADC. Come detto il seeing non era dei migliori, ma discreto per riprendere. Per selezionare i momenti migliori di seeing ho fatto più video che successivamente ho derotato col software winjupos. La derotazione totale è di 25 minuti. Cieli sereni a tutti!

Finally we start with the gas giant! We are still far from the opposition, but who starts well ... On the morning of June 4th, seeing was enough to try some shots of Jupiter which in the end gave an acceptable result (if we consider that at the time of filming the planet was 28 ° above the horizon). This time I did not trash all the filming as in the previous days. It was the first true light of the asi224, a ZWO color camera dedicated to planetary shooting, to which I combined a ZWO atmospheric dispersion corrector. I have to slightly improve my technique, but I'm happy with the ADC's job. As said the seeing was not the best, but discreet for acquiring videos. To select the best seeing moments, I made several videos which I then derotated with the winjupos software. The total derotation is 25 minutes. Clear skies at all!
